Professor Pennington is a Georgia
& Tennessee licensed CPA in addition to being the creator of Tax Triage,
llc. He is uniquely qualified for this work with with both successful
experience and an extensive background in academics specializing in the study
of entrepreneural business activities.
He was a distinguished member of
the faculty at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts while working on his
AM and PhD degrees (Harvard University and Harvard Business School ). He was
awarded the rare status of "Master of Business Economics" by Harvard University
in 1989. He has been on the faculty of Babson College (Wellesley, MA), Coles
School of Business (Marietta, GA), and Tennessee State University (Nashville,
TN).
During the years 1975-1983 he developed, operated, and sucessfully
sold an extensive group of General Aviation facilities a Fixed Base Operation,
Cessna Aircraft Sales facility. The operations included FAA certificated Flight
Schools and Aviation Repair Stations in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Concurrently
he served on the Board of Directors of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and
was active in community service through organizations like the Atlanta Aero
Club (founding member), University Aviation Association, and the Aviation Task
Force of the Boy Scouts of America.
His client list has included
Harvard Business School, Central Maine Power, Fox TV, Delta airlines, and US
Committee for Market Stability but his primary interest is in small business
startups and control. Clients have include a medical Instrumentation firm, an
assisted living facility, a hospital security monitoring firm, a surgical suite
instrumentation firm, and expert witnesses of the Master Appraisers
